The station is powered by a Davis Vantage Pro 2 Plus (6163) weather station. This site's data is collected using Weather Display Software. The station is comprised of an anemometer, a rain gauge, UV and Solar sensors, and a thermo-hygro sensor situated in optimal positions for highest accuracy possible. Unionville is a suburban community in Markham, Ontario, Canada. It is located 33 km northeast of downtown Toronto. Unionville was settled in 1794, by William Berczy. The population of Unionville is 30,000, the population of Markham is 261,573. The elevation of Unionville is 656 feet (200 m), and the coordinates are 43° 51' 53" N, 79° 18" 37" W (43.864722, -79.310278)
